Competitor Guidelines
- There is no fee for entering any static model.
- Hobbyists can enter as many static models as they wish, however only one model can be
entered in each category. - Registration for all static models is
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 3rd, 7:00 AM
- 5:00 PM on Friday, April 4th, and 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 5th.
- All models must be complete and operational and must have power plants (engines,
motors, rubber-band powered) installed with the exception of gliders, sailplanes and
rockets. - Aircraft is defined as any model that flies.
- All models must remain until the conclusion of the awards ceremony (Saturday
afternoon). - All models will be on display in a sanctioned, view-only area, and at night the entire
convention hall will be guarded and locked. The Toledo R/C Swap & EXPO – 2025
accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to entries. The hold-harmless agreement
must be signed before entry will be accepted. - All models entered into competition will be judged for Best Finish and Best of Show (Joe
David Cup). - First place winners in each category will receive a plaque.
10.Judging will be completed by 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 5th. Judge’s decisions are
final. - All models must be removed by 6:00 PM, Saturday, April 5th.
- Contestants are not granted free admission during regular show hours, except on
Saturday, April 5th, after 2:00 PM, and they must show their model claim ticket to the
